Holiday Trash Pickup Schedule Announced for Pike and Howard Counties

With Memorial Day falling on Monday, rural trash routes in Pike and Howard Counties will be adjusted next week to accommodate the holiday.

In Pike County, the Monday rural trash route will run one day behind schedule, operating on Tuesday instead. Any additional changes or updates will be posted on the Pike County Judge’s Facebook page. Residents with questions are encouraged to call the County Judge’s Office at 870-285-2414.

In Howard County, both the Monday and Tuesday routes will be collected on Tuesday, while the rest of the week will follow the normal pickup schedule.

Residents in both counties are encouraged to have their trash out early on pickup days and to follow updates in case of further changes.
