Hornets Host Bears

Last week, the Mineral Springs Hornets made it look easy on the road at England and this week, they hope continue their winnings ways as the Bearden Bears come to town.
Head Coach David Bennett said the Hornets used a balanced offense to move the ball and score on the England Lions.

Bennett said the Hornets were scheduled to play Mountain Pine this week, but in August, the Mountain Pine program decided to play 8-man football. He said they were fortunate to schedule a game with Bearden on short notice.

Bennett said the Bears are a good team and the Hornets will need to communicate better on both sides of the ball.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm tonight at Hornet Stadium.
