Howard County Airport Getting Money From Feds

The Howard County Airport is scheduled to receive one thousand dollars in grant funds from the federal government.

This week, Arkansas’ congressional delegation announced that airports around the state would share in 51 million dollars of federal funding. The grant is part of the recently approved Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act.

The money will be used for improvements and matching money will not be required on the local level.
