Howard County Announces Early Voting Dates and Locations for November Election

Howard County officials have announced the schedule for early voting for the upcoming November election, set to run from October 21 to November 4, 2024. Early voters can cast their ballots at the Carter Day-Vote Center, located at 200 Lake Nichols, Nashville, AR 71852.

The early voting hours are as follows:

  • Monday, October 21, 2024: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Tuesday, October 22, 2024: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday, October 23, 2024: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Thursday, October 24, 2024: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday, October 25, 2024: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday, October 26, 2024: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Monday, October 28, 2024: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Tuesday, October 29, 2024: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday, October 30, 2024: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Thursday, October 31, 2024: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday, November 1, 2024: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday, November 2, 2024: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Monday, November 4, 2024: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

On Election Day, November 5, 2024, voters will have additional locations available for casting their ballots:

  • Mineral Springs Methodist Church, 101 South Church St, Mineral Springs, AR 71851: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Dierks Community Center, 102 W. 2nd St, Dierks, AR 71833: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Umpire Fire Department, 15790 Hwy 278W, Umpire, AR 71971: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM

For those who have moved or changed their name, the Howard County Courthouse at 421 North Main, Room 10, Nashville, AR 71852 will be available for updates on November 5, 2024, from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM.

The last day to register to vote is Monday, October 7, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The final day for transferring registration is Friday, November 1, 2024.

Election officials appointed for early voting and Election Day will be posted for public viewing at the County Clerk’s Office and online at countyVote.com starting October 3, 2024. Any objections regarding the appointments must be filed with the County Clerk in writing. Objections related to officials being connected to the county election commissioner or party chairs must be filed within 7 days of October 9th, while objections related to connections with candidates must be filed within 10 days of October 9th.

Absentee ballots will be canvassed on November 5, 2024, at 5:00 PM at the Howard County Annex Building, 421 North Main, Nashville, AR 71852.
