Howard County Circuit Court Continues Cases

COVID-19 continues to have court proceedings at a stand still.

In Howard County Circuit Court yesterday, 14 felony cases were continued until future dates as required by the Arkansas Supreme Court.

Among the local cases receiving a continuation was that of 22 year old Chance Manasco of Mena. He is charged with Negligent Homicide and First Degree Battery in connection with a February 2019 vehicle accident near Umpire that claimed one life and resulted in several other injuries.

Manasco’s trial date has been moved from May 12th to July 21st.
