Howard County Economic Development Director Reflects on Focus Group Meeting

Vanessa Weeks, Director of Economic Development for Howard County, recently spoke about the outcome of the Focus Group Meeting held last week. Weeks discussed the purpose of the meeting and the goals set forth to drive future economic development in the area.

Weeks also noted the presence of key stakeholders at the meeting, including representatives from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC) and the Arkansas Economic Development Institute (AEDI).

Reflecting on her time as director, Weeks shared that it’s been a learning curve, but she praised the support she’s received from both the board and the local community.
