Howard County Fair Ends with Premium Sale and Parade
The Howard County Fair Junior Livestock Premium Sale on Friday raised over $60,000 for the sixty participating youth, final results are still being figured as funds are turned in. Fair Board President Linda Kitchens says one hundred percent of the proceeds from the premium sale are returned to the junior 4-H and FFA exhibitors.
Kitchens also announced this year’s herdsmen awards, which recognizes outstanding character and representation of the county fair. The awards include:

Sheep/Goats- Abbie Lamb
Tim Pinkerton was selected as the winner of the Howard County Fair Pie Contest with a buttermilk pie.
