Howard County Fair Preparations Underway with Insight from Key Figures

As excitement builds for the Howard County Fair, KMTB and KNAS interviewed several Fair Board members and participants to discuss this year’s event. Among those interviewed were Kaitlyn Miller, Karter Castleberry, Reed Webb, and Sara Lamb.

Miller took a moment to highlight the crucial role played by pageant participants, acknowledging their dedication and hard work. 

Castleberry encouraged potential participants to sign up, noting the joy and rewards that come from seeing kids engage in the fair’s activities.
Castleberry took a moment to talk about the circus that starts tonight at 6:30pm.  

Reed Webb shared that he will be showcasing a heifer this year, adding to the variety of livestock featured at the fair. Sara Lamb, a seasoned livestock show participant, discussed her extensive experience and the number of animals she will be presenting this year. 

Miller concluded the interview by providing details about the premium sale scheduled for Friday, September 6th.
