Howard County Historical Society Welcomes New Leaders for Annual Pack the Park Car Show

The Howard County Historical Society (HCHS) is excited to announce the addition of two outstanding community leaders who will be taking on key roles in support of the organization’s annual events. Chuck Martin, a native of Lockesburg, Arkansas, has been named the new Car Show Director for the popular Pack the Park Car Show. Jenna Lane Millwood Pope, a Nashville native, will serve as the Chairman of the Pack the Park T-Shirt Campaign and has also joined the HCHS Board of Directors.

Chuck Martin brings a wealth of experience to the position, having spent many years organizing car shows in Southwest Arkansas. His leadership will help ensure the continued success of the Pack the Park Car Show, which has been a beloved tradition in the region for years.

Jenna Lane Millwood Pope, with her strong background in business and her past two years of involvement with the HCHS on the fundraising campaign, is a valuable addition to the team. As Chairman of the T-Shirt Campaign, Pope will play a key role in raising funds for the event, which is a critical component of the HCHS’s annual efforts.

The Pack the Park Car Show, first started in 2007 by Freddie Horne, Terry Norris, and LeeAnn Wilson, initially began as a “spin-off” Fall Car Show during the Nashville Peach Blossom Festival. By 2014, the car show became an integral part of the Howard County Historical Society, and it has since become one of the organization’s major annual events.

The HCHS expresses its gratitude to Martin and Pope for their dedication and leadership, and it extends its thanks to the community for its continued support of the museum and its programs. The Society looks forward to another successful year with these two remarkable individuals helping to drive the Pack the Park Car Show forward.
