Howard County Quorum Court approves millage rates

Howard County’s millage rates for taxes to be collected in 2021 have been set by the quorum court. County General’s rate will continue at 3.6 mills. The rate for County Road remains at 2 mills, and the Library millage rate also remains unchanged for another year at one mill. County Clerk Keri Teague said the only millage increase will be at Tollette, where they requested to increase next year from 4.5 to 4.75 mills.
