Howard County Sheriff’s Office Called to Investigate Death

On Tuesday at approximately 6:45pm, the Howard County Sheriff’s office received a call from James David Bohn stating he found his wife Danielle Skelton deceased at their home. 33 year old Danielle Skelton was later pronounced dead at her home in Athens when emergency personnel and the County deputy coroner arrived.

Deputies Trent Coffman and Dillon Roberts assisted investigator Casey Parker with the investigation. It is believed that Danielle recently used powerful and illegal opioids in the days prior to her death.

The deceased’s body has been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for further investigation to confirm a cause of death.
