Howard County Shows First Positive COVID-19 Case

Howard County now has a confirmed case of COVID-19. State Health Department personnel notified local officials of the confirmed case late Thursday afternoon.

Earlier this week, authorities thought the county had a case but the health department later said it had made a mistake on the address causing the case to be moved to a neighboring county.

Also Thursday, Hempstead County Judge Jerry Crane announced the state had made confirmation of a second COVID-19 CASE in his county.

Pike, Polk and Sevier counties also have at least one confirmed case so far.
