Missouri resident arrested for using counterfeit money

A Missouri resident has been arrested for allegedly using counterfeit money in Nashville and Murfreesboro.  39 year old Erin Wear of Hannibal, Missouri, is charged with two felony counts of Forgery in Howard County.  Nashville police say they received word from Wal-Mart July 14th, that a female, later identified as Wear, has been observed on security camera footage buying merchandise and then using a one hundred dollar bill to pay for the items.  The money had been set aside so that change could be made, and when employees checked the authenticity of the money, Wear had already exited the store.  The following day, officers were again dispatched to Wal-Mart after another counterfeit one hundred dollar bill had been used.

Around the same time as the two occurrences in Nashville, Wear also allegedly used a fake one hundred dollar bill at a Murfreesboro business.  She was later arrested for the incident there.
