Howard & Hempstead Courthouses Reopening
County judges in Howard and Hempstead counties have announced the courthouses in those two counties will be reopening to the public on Monday, June 8th.
There are some restrictions in place for Hempstead County residents. Everyone entering the courthouse will have their temperature taken and will need to answer several questions before going to each office. The public is asked to wear masks when entering the building. County officials are also asking that there be a limit of one person per household unless it is necessary for more household members to be there. Anyone attending court proceedings will have instructions from the judges and courtroom security guards on how to enter the courtrooms.
