HPD investigating shooting that injured a 17-year-old male

On Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, at 10:11pm, officers from the Hope Police Department received several calls about gun fire in the Yerger Terrace Housing Complex. Initial investigation revealed that a seventeen-year-old male had been shot and taken to a local emergency room by a private party with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers located a crime scene within Yerger Terrace Housing Complex. Detectives responded to the scene and began their investigation.
