Hope School District FFA

National F.F.A. Week was initiated by the National Future Farmers of America Organization — a youth leadership organization, and one of the largest in the U.S., to make a positive difference in the lives of young people by developing their potential for leadership, personal growth, and career success through agriculture education.

Since it is FFA week, we are taking a moment to recognize schools in the local area and students that play a part in FFA.

Today we will highlight the Hope School District’s FFA Chapter.

Members of the Hope FFA Chapter are Reporter Izzy Barnett, Jr. Advisor Dalton West, and Ty Clayton who is the secretary.

Barnett said her job as reporter is to make sure people in her community know what their chapter is doing and is up to date on events they have.

West stated that he likes all the opportunities that FFA offers such as rodeos, CDEs, and LDEs.

Clayton, who is a legacy, talked about how it feels to be a part of something that played a part in his family for generations.

Barnett said they have about 50 members in their chapter, and she mentioned the officers and advisors as well.

Tomorrow we will highlight the Murfreesboro High School FFA Chapter.
