It’s EMS Week

The American College of Emergency Physicians and the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians have annually partnered during the third week of May to celebrate EMS Week. This year, Pafford Medical Services is proud of their more than 1,500 EMS professionals who continue to respond to more that 200,000 calls for help as well as serving as great corporate citizens in all the areas they serve including Southwest Arkansas.

This year’s theme is “rising to the challenge.”

You only have to visit the Pafford Medical Services Facebook page to appreciate the individual community contributions the company caregivers make whether it’s delivering treats to teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week, or during International Firefighters Day. Company caregivers are trained and prepared to rise to the challenge of caring for thousands of participants and attendees at numerous large scale community events, concerts and festivals this summer.

Pafford Medical Services CEO Jamie Pafford-Gresham says Pafford EMS professionals are the Swiss Army Knife of healthcare professionals. They provide lifesaving healthcare, offer injury and illness prevention advise, deliver babies, and help sort out psychological crisis or patients’ hardships.
