It’s Primary Runoff Election Day in Howard County

Today is the runoff election day from the May 24th party primaries in Arkansas.  In Howard County, voters have been casting ballots for a week in the Howard County Judge’s race.  Current County Judge Kevin Smith is being challenged by Brent Pinkerton, a 26 year member of the Howard County Quorum Court.  569 residents cast a ballot during the early voting process.  Smith and Pinkerton received the most votes during the May election that featured four candidates.

Voting will take place today at the Carter Day Center in Nashville, Umpire Fire Station/Community Building, Dierks Community Building, and at the Mineral Springs Methodist Church. 

Polls will close at 7:30 this evening.
