It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas
Work is underway to give Nashville that Christmas look and feel. Employees with the public works department placed the city’s Christmas tree at its location for this year, which is near the Main and College Street intersection. Decorations for this year’s tree were provided by students at Nashville Primary School.
Nashville Parks and Recreation Director Meghan Floyd said city park staff have been busy putting up Christmas lights throughout the park for this year’s display. More items are to be added when employees return next week from the Thanksgiving holiday.
Nashville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Mike Reese said a few of the decorative trees remain available on Main Street. The trees may be purchased to decorate in honor of, or in memory of, an individual. The cost is $35, which can be paid to the chamber of commerce.
