Jr Scrappers defeats Jr Bearcats
Last Thursday, the Jr. Scrappers hosted the Jr. Bearcats on the Hill. Nashville picked up another conference win by defeating Mena 48 to 0.
Quarterback DJ Jefferson opened the scoring on a touchdown run and then connected with Ki’shon Jefferson on a 28-yard touchdown pass.
DJ Jefferson would then score his second touchdown on a 22-yard touchdown run.
In the second quarter, DJ Jefferson would toss a 59-yard touchdown pass to Miles Hawthorne.
The defense would then get into the action when Jahaziel Ramos would return an interception for a touchdown.
Before the half, Davonte Gilliam would score on a 31-yard touchdown pass from DJ Jefferson.
Jacoby Hopson would score the final touchdown. Here’s the calll as heard on B 99.5.

The Jr. Scrappers will travel to Ashdown on Thursday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 pm and the game will broadcast on B 99.5.
