Junior Auxiliary of Nashville hosting Food Drive November 9th
Tomorrow the Junior Auxiliary of Nashville will be hosting their annual food drive which will be held at the Nashville Primary and Elementary Schools.
President Alayna Scott provided some of the details along with what items that they are accepting as donations this year.
Scott said that the food drive is going to be a competition between the kids and how it is going to be categorized.
All cans collected will go towards feeding the community in their Thanksgiving baskets. Additional items will be donated to the Scrapper Food Pantry. Foods that will not count towards the class/house totals are expired items, ramen noodles, drink packets, and water bottles.
Scott also mentioned a fundraising project that’s coming up in December called Breakfast with Santa.
