Large Number Still Without Power Following Tuesday Night’s Storms

Around 3000 customers remained without electricity Thursday morning in southwest Arkansas.

Storms that moved through the area Tuesday night caused widespread damage with trees being blown down over power lines. A number of homes and vehicles were also damaged.

Thursday mornings numbers show around 2400 SWEPCO customers and over 500 Southwest Arkansas Electric Coop customers without power.
