Legislative Redistricting

Legislative meetings have taken place over the past week and a half concerning proposals for congressional redistricting. The House and Senate State agencies as well as Governmental Affairs Committees met to address the state’s increase in population of 3.3% since 2010.

This redrawing process has taken the 4th district and extended it into the North West region of the state as far as the Huntsville area.
