Local Schools Receive CARES Act Funding
The Nashville schools have been given confirmation this week that the district’s portion of the Federal CARES Act funding will be nearly 486 thousand dollars. Superintendent Doug Graham says the local district plans to use the resources to upgrade technology in the event COVID-19 issues persist in the coming school year
Among other schools in our listening area, the Cossatot River district will be receiving more than 300 thousand dollars.
Blevins’ amount will exceed 184 thousand.
The Mineral Springs school district will receive 134 thousand dollars.
The South Pike County schools will get in excess of 132 thousand dollars.
Kirby’s district will receive over 114 thousand and the Dierks school district is scheduled to get nearly 91 thousand dollars in funding through the Federal CARES Act.
