Lofton arrested for attempted burglary

Nashville police say one person has been arrested this week for an attempted burglary.  28 year old Cameron Lofton was arrested yesterday after police received a call from the 400 block of Coulter Street, where the attempted break in was occurring.  The occupant of the residence identified Lofton as the suspect.  Officers said the located him a short distance from the residence, wearing the same clothing as described by the resident.  Lofton was arrested and has been charged with Attempted Residential Burglary and Theft By Receiving.
