Nashville Scrapperettes Advances to the 4A State Tournament

The Nashville Scrapperettes will advance to the 4A state tournament this week in Blytheville as the number one seed from the 4A South Region and will await the winner of the number two seed from the East or the four seed from the North match up on Friday, March 3 at 4 pm.


Coach Paul listed the possible Scrapperette opponents following Saturday nights 81 to 49 victory over the Star City Lady Dogs.


The Scrapperette invoked the sportsmanship rule in all three games during the regional tournament. Coach Dean also discussed the leadership of senior Scrapperette, Kyleigh Scoggins. She had 28 points in the championship win.


This week, you can listen to the Nashville JV Scrapperette softball play Dierks at 4:30 pm on Monday on our sister station 105.5 the Maverick and the Nashville Scrapper baseball team will host the Mena Bearcats at Wilson Park. The game will be broadcast on B 99.5 at 5 pm.

Wednesday night, the Dierks Outlaws will play on 105.5 the Maverick in the first round of the 2A state tournament in Rector at 8:30 pm. We’ll have the first game of the Annual Ralph Goss baseball tournament from Wilson Park on Thursday, March 2 and the Scrapperettes on Friday at 4 pm from Blytheville.
