MHS Students present Anxiety Room Project
Earlier this week, the South Pike County School District held their regular monthly meeting. KMTB and KNAS had the opportunity to speak with Superintendent Tanya Wilcher to discuss what was on the agenda.
Wilcher stated that students of Murfreesboro High School presented the Anxiety Room Get Away Project.
Wilcher also mentioned that Murfreesboro Elementary Principal James Riley had a video reporting for MES on the Hour of Code activities and what it entails.
Superintendent Tanya Wilcher also congratulated Coach Brad Chesshir for being one of the 3 finalists in Hooten’s 2A Coach of the Year.
In conclusion, the board approved a motion to set up an EFT for Blue Cross to deposit the $2500 grant money the EAST Lab received. Wilcher added that the next board meeting will be January 15th at 5pm.
