Mineral Springs Basketball Tournament Underway

At the Southwest Arkansas Classic Basketball Tournament in Mineral Springs Saturday, boys games had Mufreesboro defeating the Ashdown JV squad, 46 to 34. Horatio beat Fouke 68 to 64 and it was Bradley over Trinity Christian by a final of 80 to 42. In a pair of girls games Saturday, Bradley defeated Mineral Springs, 48 to 29 and Murfreesboro beat Fouke by a score of 54 to 46.

The tournament continues Monday. In girls games, the Nashville Scrapperettes will play Horatio at 3:45 and Caddo Hills plays Dierks at 6:45.

In the boys bracket, Monday’s games will also feature Dierks and Caddo Hills at 5:15. The final game today will have the Nashville Scrappers facing Murfreesboro at 8:15.
