Mineral Springs City Council

Aldermen of the Mineral Springs City Council held their regular monthly meeting Monday.

According to Chief of Police Francisco Mercado’s report for the month of July, his department made a total of four traffic citations, five criminal citations, 12 offense reports, two accidents, five misdemeanor arrests, and one felony arrest. 

The Mineral Springs Fire Department had two drills in the month of July. They also had a total of eight calls, three were 1st responder calls, one brush/grass fires, one structure fire, one vehicle accident, and two smoke alarms. 

For the July’s statement of Revenue and Expenditures in the General Fund, the beginning fund balance was $409,867.11 and the ending balance was $395,036.44.
