Mineral Springs City Council accepts 2019 Legislative Audit with no findings

Mineral springs City Council met Monday evening and discussed a number of issues. Most notably, the council accepted the results of the Legislative Audit for the year 2019. City Treasurer, April Nail reported there were no findings in the 2019 audit. Council members also accepted the 2020 Water Audit. The Chief of Police for the Cit of Mineral Springs announced the approval of a grant in the amount of $2,550 which will outfit the department’s officers with body armor and body cams. Shortly after, the council gave its approval for the purchase of a 2021 Dodge Durango. The Durango is equipped with a police package for use by the Mineral Springs Police Department.
