Mineral Springs City Council Discusses ACH Bank Draft Program and Economic Development Updates
On Monday evening, the Mineral Springs City Council held its regular monthly meeting, covering a range of important topics for the community.
The first item on the agenda involved Water Clerk Kathy Jones, who informed the council about a new initiative she will be implementing—the ACH Bank Draft Program through Diamond Bank.
After further discussion, Alderman Frankie Harris made a motion to approve Jones to move forward with the ACH Bank Draft Program, which was seconded by Charles Deloney. The motion passed unanimously.
Next, Charles Smith, a member of the Howard County Economic Development organization, provided an update on the group’s efforts in the community. He also shared how the City of Mineral Springs could benefit from engaging in grant writing to secure additional resources for local development.
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned.
