Mineral Springs Resident Dies Due to Traffic Accident

A Mineral Springs resident involved in a traffic accident last Tuesday was pronounced dead on Friday. 60 YO Boyd Beaird was traveling on US Hwy 70 when a vehicle pulled out in front of him onto the Hwy from a private parking lot. Beaird collided with the rear of the vehicle causing him to lose control and then drive off the road striking a tree head on. Baeird was taken to St Vincent’s in Hot Springs for treatment, however, succumbed to his injuries 3 days later. Arkansas State Police Report indicates that weather and road conditions during the time of the accident were clear and dry.
