Mineral Springs School Board Adjusts Meeting Schedule and Approves Budget Allocations

The Mineral Springs School Board met Monday evening for their regular monthly session. One of the key decisions made was to shift the board’s meeting date to the 4th Tuesday of each month, beginning next month.

In financial matters, the board approved several financial disclosure forms. BSN, the company providing the district with sporting equipment and apparel, in the amount of $25,000. Additionally, $180 was approved for Ashley Thomas, who creates crafts for MHS seniors, and Donna Dixon who will be decorating MHS’s Homecoming event was granted $2,100.

Superintendent JonDavid Amerson also announced that a special called meeting will be necessary before the end of the month.
