MSSD Files Application with State to Refund Bonds

Jason Holsclaw of Stephens Inc. encouraged the Mineral Springs School Board to pass a resolution to authorize the refunding of the district’s 2013 bonds.

The resolution authorizes Holsclaw to file an application with the department of education.

Superintendent Billy Lee said if the district refinances the bonds it will not add any time to the bond but save the district money.

Board members also approved the district’s Legislative Joint Audit for the 2018-2019 school year, which included three findings, one of which as been turned over to the prosecuting attorney’s office.
