Murfreesboro man remanded back to jail for failure to appear

A Murfreesboro man was remanded back to the Pike County Jail after appearing in the Pike County Circuit Court this week on a failure to appear warrant.

27-year-old Levi Daniel of Murfreesboro had been out on bond, but had his bond revoked after he missed a court appearance.

Daniel has been charged with two counts of breaking or entering and one count of commercial burglary.

Daniel alledgedly broke into the Gypsy Underground in December of 2021. He alledgedly stole several knives.

Security cameras showed the subject, who was identifed as Daniel breaking into the building on a second occasion. 

Daniel allegedly admitted to breaking into the business, but has not disclosed the location of the stolen items.
