Nashville Basketball Teams Close Out Regular Season

Nashville’s senior high basketball teams finished the regular season Saturday evening with home games against Hope. In the girls contest, the Scrapperettes defeated Hope 70 to 34 while the boys game saw the Bobcats win 68 to 61.

Nashville held senior night activities between games. Senior players honored included Adalyn Dunn, Cade McBride, Luke McBride, Devonte Witherspooon, Cameron Scoggins, Torrence Morgan and manager Baili Wiley.

Both teams finished the conference season with a record of 8-4. They now advance to the district tournament this week at Malvern. The Scrappers are a number three seed and will play Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 against the winner of Monday’s game between Mena & De Queen.

The Scrapperettes are a number two seed and won’t play their first game until the semifinals on Thursday at four o’clock.
