Nashville Chamber names Man and Woman of the Year
The Nashville Chamber of Commerce celebrated ‘The Past, Present and Future’ last night at the annual chamber awards banquet.
Among the awards presented last night was Woman of the Year and Man of the Year.
Michelle Boone was presented the Woman of the Year Award, by Stephanie Harrison who was the 2021 Woman of the Year recipient.
Boone will also serve the chamber as the new board president. She stated it was overwhelming, but a also a great honor.
The 2022 Man of the Year award was presented to Ricky Kesterson, by new Nashville Chamber of Commerce executive director, Tim Pinkerton.
Kesterson talked about how special wonderful and special the community of Nashville is.
Several families were presented memorial award plaques for their loved ones who spent their lives serving the community of Nashville. Those memorial awards were presented to the families of Robert Chism, Sandy Stanley, Joe Goodrum, Phyllis Honea, Becky Ray, Hix Smith Jr., Verna Hockaday and Lesley White.
White was also named the recipient of the Orange and Black Award.
