Nashville man arrested on drug charges
A July 13th trial date has been set for a Nashville man who was recently arrested on assorted drug related charges. 29 year old Dalton Ray Jordan is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance–Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Authorities say Jordan was arrested recently when Officer Dustin Wakefield was conducting a routine patrol near West Sypert Street and noticed an individual walking with flashlight and short handled sledgehammer. Reports say the officer recognized the individual as Jordan and began speaking with him. During the conversation, police asked for, and were given consent to search Jordan, who told the officer that he had a meth pipe in his pocket. Jordan was placed into custody and police retrieved the pipe. While at the jail, police say they noticed a white residue, believed to be Methamphetamine, in the pipe.
Jordan’s bond has been set at $25,000 dollars.
