Nashville man arrested while driving a stole truck

Nashville police have arrested a local resident in connection with a stolen vehicle report this week.  Police Chief Amy Marion said the vehicle had been left at Perez Auto Shop for repair work and when the owner went to get the truck, it was discovered the vehicle was missing.  Officer Mackenzie Vermillion was off duty when he saw the stolen truck traveling north on North Main Street.  Officer Vermillion contacted Investigator Tim Bowlin and followed the stolen truck, which pulled into the Nashville High School parking lot.  Officer Vermillion detained the driver until Investigator Bowlin arrived.
