Nashville Mayor discuss Economic Development
Tuesday, KMTB and KNAS took a moment to speak with Nashville Mayor Larry Dunaway about the Nashville City Council January meeting and what was on the agenda.
In part two of our discussion Mayor Dunaway talked about how things are going with developing Howard County. Dunaway stated that their economic development efforts are moving along and growing.
It was reported at this week’s council meeting by Howard County Economic Development Director Vanessa Weeks that Howard County is officially established with the state, and they can finally move forward with establishing their foundation as a 501-C3, are able to take donations, and start developing Howard County.
Dunaway also reported that they did receive requests for information on Husqvarna and that they got some interests from a particular company. Dunaway said he doesn’t know who or what but as more develops he will keep the public posted.
