Nashville Mayor looks into possible options for water sources

Yesterday, KMTB and KNAS had a chance to speak with Nashville Mayor Larry Dunaway about the Nashville City Council’s April meeting. Dunaway talked about the overall meeting and what are his plans for the city of Nashville.

Dunaway stated that they are looking at some options as far as their water source. Dunaway said that they got engineering going on for the river pump station and the water plant expansion.

Dunaway explained that he is looking into wells that would pump 3 to 4 million gallons of water a day.

Dunaway concluded by saying that he’s not only trying to anticipate what problems may arise but look forward in trying to anticipate what growth he may have.
