Nashville Parks and Recreation Director guest speaker at Nashville Rotary Club

Yesterday, Parks and Recreation Director Meghan Floyd was the guest speaker at the Nashville Rotary Club meeting. 

Floyd informed Rotarians that they are currently in their basketball season for 3rd through 6th grade and she talked about when they plan on finishing out the season.

Floyd stated that they are on point to have 50 teams total this year for their league. She also did a comparison of how many teams they’ve had per year, starting with the year 2019.

Floyd also mentioned that they are planning to have a jamboree on March 16th which is a fundraiser for their program. 

Floyd said they are doing something new this year in order to raise funds to do repairs and upgrades at the Nashville City Park. Floyd said you will now have the option to pay a gate fee or purchase a season pass to attend the games.
