Break-in at Mineral Springs City Hall under investigation

Aldermen of the Mineral Springs City Council discussed the recent burglary of the water office and city hall.

Apparently on or about November 3rd, the Mineral Springs City Hall and water office was broke into.

Aldermen were told about $380 was taken from the water office. According to the city clerk, the mayor’s office was rifled through and her office was ransacked.

Mineral Springs Police Chief, Jeff Witherspoon informed the council they have a person of interest but the case is still under investigation.
