Nashville Parks and Recreation Discusses Proposal for Dinosaur Track Display
During Tuesday’s Nashville Parks and Recreation meeting, board member Freddie Horne introduced a proposal from the Historical Society to enhance the area near the dinosaur track by the pond. The proposal includes adding a small covering and a dedication sign to celebrate this unique feature.
In the first part of our discussion, Horne mentioned that graduate student Hannah Sherman, who is currently working on her master’s degree, will be preparing a display for the museum.
Horne expressed optimism about the project, stating that it would serve as an excellent addition to the park.
The board plans to continue the discussion in next month’s meeting, where further details and updates will be shared. Stay tuned for part two of our discussion.
