Nashville Primary named 2020 Distinguished School

Nashville Primary School has received national recognition. The local campus has been named a 2020 Distinguished School through the National Elementary and Secondary Education Act. According to officials with the Arkansas Department of Education, Nashville Primary School is one of only two Arkansas schools, and just one of 57 in the United States to receive the honor. The local primary school is recognized for closing the achievement gap between student groups for two or more consecutive years.
Nashville Primary and other schools receiving the designation, will be honored February 8th through 11th at the virtual 2021 National ESEA Conference.
Pottsville Elementary School is the other campus in Arkansas to receive the designation.
