Nashville Rotary Wraps Up Club Year

Wednesday afternoon, Nashville Rotary Club president Bill Craig resided over his final meeting and passed the gavel to Andi Reeves-Green whose’s presidency will begin next Wednesday,

Club secretary/treasurer Donnie Woods provided members with an end of the year report.

Woods said the Nashville Rotary Club provides three scholarship to Nashville High School seniors, sponsors the annual football banquet and supports 4-H, the Howard County Children’s Center and other local charities.

Woods stated that currently the local club has over 50 members. He said the largest membership was 67 but the club has never had less than 40 members. Woods said Liz Bell was the first female Nashville Rotary Club member and was also the first female president.
