Nashville School Board

A special school board meeting was called Friday for the Nashville School District. After the most recent US Census the Nashville School District is required by state law to consider rezoning the district to ensure equal demographics within each zone. Outlining this process is Superintendent for the Nashville School District, Doug Graham.

Graham also said that after the rezoning process that all current board members still were located within their current zones. Allowing each to run for the same zone that they currently serve. 

Further business for the board included the hiring of Tequilla Griffin for a paraprofessional position. Jessica Jackson to Full Time Custodial staff and Amy Benson as choir director. Replacing the position formerly held by Brooke Moorehouse.
