Gov. Extends Emergency Declaration

Governor Asa Hutchinson has extended the state’s emergency declaration due to the COVID-19 pandemic for an additional 60 days:

The governor made the announcement during a Tuesday afternoon press conference in Hope. While in Hope yesterday, the governor said he met with several area school superintendents, healthcare providers and Hope city officials to discuss how the pandemic is affecting southwest Arkansas.
