Nashville School Board February Meeting
The Nashville school district’s slate of building principals, assistant superintendent, director of maintenance/athletics and transportation and the curriculum coordinator were all employed Monday night by the school board. The action was on a unanimous vote and followed an executive session.
The board also voted to hire John Mays to fill an information technology position. Superintendent Graham said Mays’ employment date will be upon release from his current job in Texarkana.
One personnel resignation was accepted Tuesday night. Joy Freel, a 28 year employee of the district, is leaving her elementary math teaching position at the end of the school year.
