Nashville School Board reviews district’s Atlas Test results
Monday night during the monthly meeting of the Nashville School Board, Superintendent Doug Graham reported student absentees were down for the first nine-weeks on the Primary campus by 128 days.
District curriculum coordinator, Kim Slayton presented the board with the initial results from last year’s Atlas Test. She said last year’s sixth and seventh graders scored above the state average in all three areas, including ELA, Math and Science.
Graham said more information will be provided to the public as the district leadership team examines the test scores.
Board members also voted to accept the resignation of second grade teacher, Maggie Worthington.
